Brazil - Fazendas Klem Estate Lot
The coffee has a classic profile and flavours of caramel and hazelnut. Delicious for espresso and cappuccino. This pulped natural comes from one of the most important coffee regions of Brazil and perhaps in the world. The farm where this coffee comes from has existed for several generations and has developed in recent years into a professional farm where care for people and nature is high on the agenda. The coffee is therefore organically grown.
Description
Fazendas Klem is a real family business. Current owner and son of the founder is Nagipe Viana Klem. He grew up with the company. He took the first steps towards an organic and sustainable plantation in the 1950s. Today, he is supported by his family members and the farm has grown rapidly and is now a model for sustainable production in the region. Other farmers regularly visit the farm to gain knowledge.
The focus of the Klem family is on producing the highest quality coffee. So high that they have already won the Cup of excellence in Brazil. Naturally, they look for ways to distinguish themselves. One way is to experiment with processing methods. Semi-washed is one of them. This processing has less impact on the environment because much less water is used in washing the coffee. It also gives the coffee a fuller taste.
Besides this coffee, we also have a honey processed coffee.
Try them side by side and taste the differences.
